Quantum's History

Quantum Imaging and Therapeutic Associates, Inc. takes pride in the unique place we hold in the history of Radiology in Central Pennsylvania. From our beginnings in 1926 when Allen Z. Ritzman was appointed Roengenologist at Harrisburg Hospital we have now grown to a regional, Hospital based practice, augmented by state of the art IT and teleradiology services. Quantum's practice is robust and we currently employ more than 30 diagnostic/ interventional radiologists and radiation oncologists. Quantum's diversity extends to Radiation oncology services currently provided to Carlisle Hospital and Oakwood Cancer center. Services are being provided to Holy Spirit Health System, Pinnacle Health System, Carlisle Hospital, Evangelical Hospital, Nason Hospital, and Hanover Hospital.

Our roster shows that all subspecialties within radiology are notably represented on the Quantum team. We are proud of our musluloskeletal, Neuro, and pediatric radiologists. The expertise extended to the practice by our Body and Women's Imagers is enjoyed by the greater central Pennsylvanian medical community. Our fully supported, academic level, interventional radiology services are well appreciated by our patients, health systems and medical staffs.

Quantum highly values all of its customers and each enjoys our high quality services. While we are indeed a regional presence, our model is a hands on and personal approach to the provision of professional radiology services. Quantum's growth is highly controlled and monitored so that all of our customers feel a real connection to their providers and the practice as a whole.

In an effort to give back to the communities which have graciously welcomed us into their families, we have begun a youth sports initiative and are sponsoring many youth programs from T ball to the Harrisburg City Islanders professional team's youth academies. Look for our banner in the soccer complex during your next visit to our state's capital City Island!
